History

Moose traveled a long journey from Hoenn. She was a part of big group of her own kind that was traveling across Johto. The swarm visits the region once per a year and Moose was curious about the new region. She was not even one year old during the visit of Johto and her curiosity made her look around. Unlike other of her kind, she always had a bold spirit and enjoyed fighting. Moose found some opponents herself, but the real joy came when she saw a shiny Krookodile that was training nearby. Although she was not taller than his feet, she came to him without fear and asked him whether he could show her some nice fighting moves. The Krookodile was surprised to see a small cute looking bird and then was shocked when she asked him to train her. He didn’t have time or any reason to bother himself with small Swablu, but the girl was very stubborn. She was trying to make up his mind, annoying him and she even followed him home.

Moose discovered the Krookodile lives with a trainer and she stayed nearby the house. The trainer noticed her and asked her Krookodile whether he knows her, but he just shook the head. It took two days and one massive rain, but he finally acknowledged her presence. He finally told Moose his name and asked why she wanted so much to be trained by him. Moose said that she adores strong pokemon and wants to become one herself, and thus, she needs a good teacher. Vincent knew she is trying to flatter him, but it was clear she was honest with him. In the end, Vincent agreed and his trainer did the same. Veronika loved the thought of small cotton candy bird joining the team. Moose let her family know that she wants to stay, so she can become stronger and they were not against the idea. Since then, she has been training under Vincent and is always ready to be called to fight.

Personality

Moose is not an ordinary Swablu. Swablu and altaria Are usually very calm, gentle and spend a lot of time singing and humming songs that are pleasant to listen to. Moose always had a bold nature with taste for fight and danger. Since she started to train with Vincent, she got used on his army style of life and became an eager army girl. However, even though she likes to fight, she is not reckless. She will think before attacking and can be reasoned with. Thanks to Vincent, she is disciplined and obeys orders from him and her trainer. That doesn’t mean she will never state her opinion and not say anything sassy. It is also very hard to change her state of mind, when she decides on something. She can also get very excited, and sometimes can’t keep it all in. Towards the others, she is a tough girl, but there is softer side of her.

Being a Swablu, she still has elegance and tenderness to her. She is willing to take care of others and is very social and great team member, but there are things she just doesn’t do. Moose doesn’t sing. She has a natural talent and her tones are soothing and beautiful, but she keeps them in. The only time she allows herself to do such thing is when she is all alone, or in battle, where she uses singing to make her opponents fall asleep. The reason of this is that she doesn’t want to be just another living music box for others. It annoys her very much, when people or pokemon demand her to sing, and she always refuses. Gaining respect with her fighting and social skills is far more important than something that anyone of her kind can do. In the end of the day, she is always happy to have that calm and silent moment, when she can rest and be happy with her current life. After all, every warrior wants to have some peace after the battle. 

Trivia

- Her favorite song is “Eye of the Tiger” by “Survivor”

- Moose is not her actual name, rather a nickname. No one in team knows her real name.

- Her battle style resembles that of a tank. She specializes in defense and being able to take many hits, tiring the opponent.

- Moose adores dragon pokemon and was always eager for the moment when she evolves.

- Her body shape differs from other Swablu. Moose is thinner and has some similarity to Altaria, having a longer tail and ears.

-  She is fan of sports and likes to watch them on TV. She also plays videogames.

- She was also based on movie Chappie, but not an actual character. She is based on the big bulky robot named Moose, that didn’t even have own mind and was simply a machine. In the written fan stories based on the movie and written by me, the robot was rebuilt with a female AI with new paint job- blue and white. This color variation came from concept art for the movie. When the comic was being developed, there was an idea to make this robot into small cute Swablu with army attitude.
